funding statement of  the culture department of the city munich:

jan struckmeier is in search of the ‘in-between’ in the creative quarter at munich's leonrodplatz: between numerous artistic and creative industry initiatives, struckmeier asks what a ‘new ritual space’ (dorothea von hantelmann) could look like at this location. driven by the idea of creating synergies between individual initiatives and opening up intermediate spaces, struckmeier is developing a concept for a mobile stage under the working title ‘connecting in progress..’ and in collaboration with interdisciplinary experts. at the end of the research work, a sustainable financing and implementation plan is to be drawn up, which would represent added value for the independent scene as well as for the various initiatives in the creative quarter [...].
